The French Federation for Ufology (Fédération Française d'Ufologie) objectives are:
To carry out research on the UFO phenomenon on the entire French territory.
To sensitize people and the institutions about the UFO phenomenon.
To obtain the declassification of the GEPAN and SEPRA archives.
To obtain the cancelation of the 1979 décret imposing a 60 years delay before "non accredited people" can access gendarmerie UFO reports (or that this delay applies only to the witness identidities and not to the factual content of the reports).
To obtain the access rights for "non accredited investigators" to UFO landing sites, or alleged UFO landing sites, if landownwers agree (sites access currently autorized only to Gendarmerie Nationale).
To help developing a civil scientific research on UFOs (not only a strictly military research) with appropriate means (money and expertise).
To publish a quarterly magazine, "OVNI France."
To seek fundings for various research tasks in the ufology field.
To create a database of UFO observations in France.
To set up and provide offer training courses for UFO investigators for a national harmonization of data acquisition.
To create several working groups dealing with the UFO phenomenon (scientific, analyzes, photographs, videos etc).
Attribution of grants to people or associations who have an important project of ufologic research.
