The witness writes to the web site "Traingle:"
"Faithful reader of your site that I find enthralling, I email to you my observation which took place in the evening of Friday September 20, at the vertical of the borough of Saint-Gobain, in Aisne where I reside. It was approximately 08:45 P.M. - 08:50 P.M., my wife had left from my brother's who lives at 200 meters approximately from my residence. I was for my part in the living room with our two boys aged 3 and 5; we watched television. My wife arrived and at once told us to look at by the window, whose shutters were not closed. We then saw a flying object which moved away in a southwesternly direction. It should be specified that we are in an area where many planes furrow the sky; however this was too low to be an airliner; moreover whereas the weather was black we could see the object for it comprised at its back a line of white lights as well as a red twinkling light which moved from the right-hand side to the left hand side. After having cut the sound of the television set, I opened the window: there was no noise outside; specifically, no noise of engine was perceptible; whereas we generally hear the noises from large transport aircraft that go down on Paris even if they fly at a rather high altitude. The observation lasted roughly twenty seconds before it dispareared from view. This is my testimony, I do not draw any quick conclusion but I nevertheless wanted to share it. Greetings!"
"Supplement: Following my testimony of yesterday I wish to add a precision which was provided by my wife. The lights at the back of the object, according to her, had some blue and orange reflections of color. I make a point of specifying that when my wife saw this object, she was outside between the house of my brother ours, distant of approximately 200 meters; unfortunately she could just like me see only the back of this object and could distinguish neither the shape nor a contour because of the darkness. She nevertheless assures me that the object flew low and was silent."
